Teachers’ Day is celebrated as a tribute to the hard work of all the teachers round the year to edueate the students placed under their care. in india, Teachers’ clay is celebrated on September 5"“, dedicating it to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnén, one of the greatest scholars and teachers of all times. “The mediocre teacher tells, the good teacher explains, the superior teacher demonstrates, the great teacher inspires.” Teaching profession is the mother of all professions. The Teacher’s day celebration of the academic year 2018-19 was celebrated on 11th September 2018.The celebration began at 11.15am. The chief guests of the day was Rev.Fr.JohnPalithottathil SDB, Rector and Manager. He was led to the dais by Rev.Fr. Geo Kalladanthiyil Principal, Don Bosco HSS, Mannuthy, and Rev. Fr. John Chittilapilly, Senior most teacher Mr Sunny M.Panthackal and ISO Co-Ordinator Mr. Sebastian N.K. The programme started with prayer song by school choir. Miss Sandra of HSS welcomed the gathering. Viji Krishna Asst. School Pupil (HS) leader felicitated the teachers. Anagha .P, Asst. School pupil leader (HSS) recited a poem which made the assembly a meaningful one. The JRC members of the School presented a gift to all the teachers and non teaching staff as token of their gratitude in Principal’s office. Rev. Fr. John Palithottathil addressed the gathering followed by Principal’s message. The official programme concluded at 12.15pm with a reply speech by senior most teachers Mr.Sunny M. Panthackal.
