A brief report on the conduct of 13th The Kerala state Sepaktakraw senior championship 2018-2019, held at the Don Bosco Higher Secondary School on 9th to 11th November2018 is given below. The Championship was commenced with team registration on the first day 9th Nov 2018 at 5 p.m. The event was welcomed by .Fr Geo kallandanthiyil (Principal & org committee chairman). The official inauguration of the Championship was held at 10 a.m. by Sri TP Dasan (President Kerala sports council). State Flag was hoisted by V.M Mohanan, the district flag was hoisted by Dr. Joe Joseph (President, Sepaktkraw Thrissur) and the school flag by Rev Fr John Palithottathil with reporting by Sr KV Babu Secretary state , and Presidential speech by Rev Fr Joyce Tonikuzhyil SDB, Key Note Address done by Dr TI Manoj(Admin Board member KSSC) We had done the felicitation for the national medalist from our district who represented Kerala team during the year 2018-2019 with momentum.and the felicitation done by the Mr suresh (secretary DSC Thrissrur), sri Vincent kattokaran(President DSC) Sr Adv Ramadas (Ward Councellor Thrissur corporation ), Anoop Davis Cada (Nominee DSC) Mr, MR Renjith ( Admin Board member KSC), Rev Fr Sabu cyriac (SDB,Administratior DB mannuthy), Dr Chacko Joseph Joint Director DPI. Mk Prem Krishnan (Secretary Thrissur asscociation ) The progmme was observed by the KSC AS Kutty and finally the vote of thanks was done by the Mr. N.K. Sebastain )ISO Cordinator DB Mannuthy). After an energetic days of thrill and excitement, the closing ceremony started at11th November 2018 at 10 am. The welcome speech for the function was done by the Rev Fr Geo kallandanthayil (Principal DB mannuthy , ) Presidential address by shri VM Moahanan master President STAK) The prize distribution was done by Rev. Fr. John Pallithottathil SDB, & felicitation done by the Rev Fr Sabu Cyriac SDB, Sri Ratheesh Kumar JT Secretary (STAK) Sr Mk Prem Krishnan Nominee (STFI) Sri Suresh (Treasurer STAK) followed up by Vote Of Thanks by Mr.Madhusoodhanan (Execuitvemember STAK). A total number of 440 players and 60 Officials (30 coaches and 30 Managers), 25 referees from the various districts participated in the competition.
